Dance Elders over 60s Contemporary dance programme 2024

Spring term starting January 2024.

Open Dance Class

A gentle but fun dance class, specifically aimed at the over 60’s that allows you to work at your own pace. It has the potential to change the way you feel by enhancing your confidence and self-esteem and supporting you to feel better about yourself! As well as getting you fitter, the group offers a social support network of like-minded people.

Where: Delapre Community rooms, Northampton, NN4 8EN

When: 10.30am – 11.30am Mondays 8th Jan – 18th March 2024 (no classes on 19th Feb).

Cost: £50 per 10-week term

Optional performance strand:

This is an optional 45-minute extension to the class, for those who would like to create a dance piece to perform to audiences.

Where: Delapre Community rooms, Northampton, NN4 8EN

When: 11.45am – 12.30am Mondays 8th Jan – 18th March 2024 (no classes on 19th Feb).

Cost: £15 per 10-week term

Bursaries available. Please get in contact should you need support funding the sessions.

Dance for people affected by cancer

A chance to connect with others affected by cancer through dance. The sessions will help you to re-discover yourself, open up to new possibilities, and discover a renewed sense of well-being.

Come & try this gentle class that offers space for relaxation as well as movement allowing to reconnect with our bodies, whether recently diagnosed, undergoing treatment or afterward
