Elders Dance Company for age 65 years +

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Elders Dance Company at the Royal and Derngate Theatre this May after a years break due to the pandemic. I can’t tell you how excited we are to welcome back our dancers into the studio again.

We launched the Elders Dance Company back in January 2020 in partnership with the Royal and Derngate and Age UK Northamptonshire, and it was so popular we even had a waiting list for those wanting to join. This highlighted the need for such provision for our older communities in Northampton. Sadly we had to pause the classes just as we were ready to perform our dance to the public due to the Covid-19 crisis. But, alas we are back and excited to go.

We are also excited to announce that we will be working with the University of Northampton again, who will be providing us with a report evaluating the impact of the work.

It goes without saying that the classes have been covid risk assessed, and we endeavour to make the experience as safe and enjoyable as possible for you.
